AT A1 DOOR COMPANY, WE BELIEVE IN GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITIES THAT WE SERVE.
THAT’S WHY EVERY TIME ONE OF OUR RESIDENTIAL TECHNICIANS SERVICES A GARAGE DOOR, WE MAKE A DONATION TO ONE OF FIVE LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.

AUTISM SOCIETY OF CENTRAL VIRGINIA (ASCV) offers a wide range of social, recreational, support, and educational programs for individuals with autism, their friends and families, and professionals throughout Central Virginia. Our mission is to support, empower, and build connections to improve the lives of all in our local autism community.

THE RICHMOND SPCA, a nonprofit founded in 1891, is cultivating a community committed to saving, protecting and enriching animal lives with a mission to provide education and resources to achieve and sustain a no-kill community. Annually, the private humane society rescues, rehabilitates, and finds homes for about 4,000 homeless dogs, cats and other small animals while also providing our region with vital safety net programs designed to keep thousands of pets in loving homes and out of shelters.

CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF RICHMOND at VCU is dedicated to providing unstoppable care to the children of Virginia and beyond—a promise we’ve kept for over 100 years. It’s with partners like A1 Door Company and community support that allow the hospital the ability to provide world-class care for ALL kids right here in Richmond.

THE ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER is the nation’s largest breast cancer movement and fundraising walk series. Organized by the American Cancer Society (ACS), these non-competitive 3- to 5-mile walks unite nearly 150 communities nationwide to honor survivors, support “thrivers” (those living with metastatic breast cancer), and raise funds for research and patient services.
